Julie has over 3 years of experience working in the industry. She stays active as a professional stylist for fashion photography, runway, film, and weddings. She has had the opportunity to be a lead stylist and team organizer for several large production fashion shows in the Northwest, and featured bridal stylist for Portland in the Oregonian. She is trained to work with human hair extensions and hair pieces, in their many applications. In addition, as an Oregon licensed hair stylist, she works closely with clients in the salon. Trained in Goldwell color concepts and KMS cutting techniques, she stays up to date on the newest trend, education, and technical skills in cutting and color. She has worked as salon management, and self employed stylist and independent contractor. Julie has been involved with the Bishops marketing design team, and also enjoys doing her own artist directing and occasional wardrobe styling.
Julie is inspired by texture, color, and timeless design. She aspires to stay current in today’s fashion forward styling, but makes it a priority to master the classics. She sees each person as a fun and exciting new opportunity to create a tailored look for their individuals need. Walking the line between bold and soft, and edgy and elegant, Julie looks forward to new experiences and working with out boundaries.
